This is my entry for *silverglass19's contest that you should all join now The idea is to draw Carousel Horses/Animals from her characters.

I love her comic Everlee and her characters- not to mention *silverglass19 is awesome! So I couldn't resist I had a really hard time choosing who to draw and in the end I went with Adelais and I'm glad I did, She is just so pretty.

I have always loved carousels. I used to have a nice collection of carousel horse figures but the have all broken or gotten buried over the years The best part about drawing this was getting to design the tack. I always loved the really wild looking carousel horse with the hair tossed in the air. But something about carousel horses always made me sad, they tend to look like they are terrified. Despite how pretty they are, they make me wonder.

Now I should say something here. I am just in the most disgusting art block ever. I went through half a sketchbook today trying to draw art I owe and Giderah things and ended up so frustrated. I seem to only be doing decent at horses right now... *sigh* and still this took me about 5 sketches...making it my most successful attempt at drawing in months *headdesk*
