Another character from Frog's story. :)
Couldn't sleep tonight and for months I have wanted to make a reference for Ironweed. Maybe that's what keeping me up? Yikes I'm silly.

Anyway this is Ironweed, a wild mustang stallion. And most likely Frog's sire.

I'm silly and had his forelock cover the higher marking on his head. It's a big diamond shaped star. The soft dark spots on him are little scars and dings from fighting.
He has a really coarse head - the big lump really looks apparent when his head is angled like the close up.

*twitches* I'm dying to start posting this story

Editing to add: omg.. I will trade anyone a professional website, or $500 in commissions... if they can get me a blank stormwatch [link] to dress up as Ironweed XD

Ah, art is always something nice to so when you can't sleep. ^^
And Ironweed is quite the character! I have to say that by just looking at him his name seems to fit perfectly! His eyes, mane and tail are especially outstanding. I love it. :3
The story sounds very interesting, good luck with it! And if you mean posting it here on dA, go for it! I'm sure we'd love to see it. I know I would. >w<

I always work faster and do better when I can't sleep :)

I'm glad to hear that his name suits him! I was tearing my hair out over what he should look like. I had the name and I know the character but I couldn't pinpoint what he looked like exactly until tonight <3

When the time comes for me to start posting the story I'll definitely be posting it here :)
