Another favorite pokemon! I'm very partial to those early gen fire types <3
Had some art block to work through yesterday so I drew a Vulpix. I started with the tail held up behind the back like it should be but then played around with it this way, and liked the result. -still though- You are always welcome to get your gripe on!
Feel free to use this for avatars and on forums and such, just link back to me if you can - if not, no worries.

One of my favorite artists on dA drawing my most favorite Pokemon of all time? AWESOME! THis is a great piece and I really like how you posed the tail. I've always thought it would make sense for Vulpix to hold it's tail up while excited, interested or on alert about something, but otherwise wouldn't it get tired doing that all day? Letting the tail hang definately gives a nice sense of calm to the image. It's at ease, it isn't worried about anything, maybe it's... having a reflective moment? Regardless, you've rendered this creature perfectly and captured a very relaxed mood.
(btw, Vulpix is my favorite because it's a lapdog/lapfox with a built-in flamethrower)
i envy your backround skills
