Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine  that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam  deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Bronies go nuts, and Nintendo Sucks?Equestria Girls
The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

I've been working hard on a new horse character for a little short story I'm working on, but I wanted to make sure I am not stepping on anyone's toes. I don't have all too many friends in the horse community here (and those that I do have I loooove to death! lol :heart:) T_T so I'm not so aware of what everyone's characters look like. I'm absolutely in love with the colors I've chosen but i wanted to know, does anyone here have a liver chestnut with a lighter mane and tail that looks like these arabians? [link] [link]

I've imagined her as being splash white or having sabino markings with a big balds face *dies of love* but I just wanted to know if there was a character out there I should consider before I get too attached to elements of my design.

There are sooo many horse characters out there that I bet some where some place there is one, but I dont think you should let that stop you. (after all, it seems like a good 85% of all horse characters are spirit based, so technoicly the idea isnt their either) I think that you should just make your character, even if someone already has a horse with that color, as long as your not directly coping someones else character, then your fine!

I haven't seen any like that, but I wouldn't worry about it anyway. :aww: Just think how many bay horses look like other bay horses right? Characters are bound to be somewhat similar. :hug:

XD thats true! I haven't seen any that look like her so I'm happy. I was just worried that picking a little different of a color might irk someone if they had a character with what they thought were really different colors :) I would actually love if their were more liver chestnut character hehehhe pretty pretty
