How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Hello

Well I have only a few more classes to go and then I AM DOOOONE! June 30th is my last day of classes! So Giderah should get rolling again and I may open commissions again as soon as I get my current list completed as well as my offsite ones

But I do have a point to this journal. I have never had a problem with people contacting me outside of DA until just recently. I have always left up my aim and email on my frontpage and I will likely continue to do so.

Recently though, it feels like everytime I sign on aim there is someone from DA who wants to talk with me. That is perfectly fine! I love it! I love that people want to talk to me. What I don't like though is that often people are making 5-10 minutes of small talk with me until we are "friends" and then want to know if I can draw them something.
Ok.. well.. thats fine unless that is your whole intention behind wanting to be my friend. Frankly it doesn't seem very friendly at all

Honestly, at this point I am so busy with art stuff that I hardly get to do anything for my friends that I have known forever. I really cannot do requests and I have been telling people for a long time right now that it may take me over a year to get my part of an art trade to them.

Now, I don't want this to sound like I'm bitching ^_^ I devote a ton of my time to this website and the friends I have made here! I have made some awesome friends from people contacting me on aim. But It is really disheartening when I feel like people just want something from me rather than wanting to get to know me and that they would pretend to do the latter to obtain a drawing.

I will still keep my information up but if I see more and more people just trying to get something from me, I will probably no longer make my contact info public
