Personal Questions 1. How did you learn to draw? How long did it take?I started drawing when I was very young, but it really did not become my overwhelming passion until the end of my freshman year at college. It's funny that my break from design classes was rushing home and drawing. I have only been working hard to draw dogs for about 3 years.
2. What programs do you use for illustration? I Use photoshop CS3. I tend to sketch my drawings, then scan the sketch in at high resolution, color it, then touch up likes with my tablet, then apply textures.
3. Will you do a tutorial? Heavens, yes! People seem to like some of my techniques, and for the most part I taught myself photoshop from free online tutorials so I feel like it would be wrong for me not to pass on anything that could help someone else trying to learn. I have a few in the works based on the suggestions I have received. (How to make textures, How I color and texture images, how to draw canines, how to draw horses)
4. Can I reference your pictures/animal anatomy when I draw? If you would like to go ahead! but please don't just trace things if you are trying to learn. While I am extremely flattered that people like the anatomy on my pictures they are certainly not accurate
I have always felt that when you learn anatomy from another artist, you learn that artists mistakes as well.
5. Can we do an art trade? Can you do requests?I am afraid I no longer have time to do trades or requests. Sometimes I might do things like taking suggestions for free line art based on suggestions, so keep a look out for journals announcing that.
Giderah Questions 1. Are you going to get this printed/ sell this? If so when and for how muchIt has always been my intention to get Giderah printed. Most likely I will just print a small run at a local printer for me to sell at conventions or online. It will all depend on what sort of interest people have.
I do not have a date or a price at this time

2. How many pages will this be? This issue is between 45-50 pages long. Later issues will probably be shorter.
3. I don't get it/ what is going on? Don't worry! I won't leave you in the dark forever. Just keep watching! I'll quote my previous journal:
"As these pages have been posted I've noticed many comments expressing confusion as to the narrative thread, one issue at least I intend to tackle now. I have no intention as a writer to make a storybook; this will never be a picture book with every action clearly written there in a convenient bubble/box for you. 5. You didn't make all the characters? Can I make one? When I first began talking about making Giderah a few years back I opened it up to my friends and watchers to design a character for the story. I thought it would be awesome to have a bunch of people involved. And it has been great! It's not that I could not design all the characters on my own. I just thought it would be fun. However the main characters are my creation. The story is my creation. I mention in the artist comments when there is a donated character on the page.
It's been a lot of fun! but Unfortunately I was sent so many characters that some will only be in the background
Because of this I don't really encourage anyone to send me designs because I'll feel bad if you don't ever get to see them. However! There is a Giderah Rp Forum that can always use more players

I have so much on my plate right now that I had to make some tough choices on what I need to spend my precious after work hours on and while I try my hardest to check in on the forum I do not have the available time to actively participate. I will pop in though!

Although, just a question, you seem to have changed Senallia's design slightly in the comic. Just regarding the colour too, is he still green? I noticed he looks quite yellow and I thought that was just because of the lighting in the scene, but let me know if I should be doing him green or yellow, thanks much!
Senallia's colors have changed, they are much more yellow. I'm going to be doing a set of refs soon. the colors you see on the comic pages are much more accurate than any of the previous pictures I had done of him
