Ok let's see - we have an image hosted on a profile that is 1 day old and asks you to visit a website with a strange url with a promise of a financial reward on an another website. How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

The trailer to "Equestria Girls" (the humanized MLP spinoff film) finally was released today. Aaaannnd everyone's freaking out. Again.
You know, it actually looks pretty decent. Bronies... please understand: I know you're a major unexpected demographic for the show. I know you enjoy seeing shout-out's become canon within the show, and appreciate how the creators do little things here and there for you. But... the show isn't made for you. This is not Cartoon Network and the target demographic isn't 25 year olds in college. You're a nice addition to the target demographic of little girls, but you are not the driving force behind MLP.
I don't want this to sound mean, but it needs to be said. This is where it becomes very important to understand the fine line between being a fan of the show and thinking that because you've invested so much energy into the show that you're entitled to things.
I'm sure the movie won't be as bad as everyone makes it out to be. It honest

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Is it working well for you guys? I went to this incredibly helpful journal css generator [link] and that was so helpful! <3 So if you guys are having trouble with your journal css I really recommend it! Super helpful. Ill fill in my little sections tomorrow

So I have to say, I am absolutely blown away and flattered by how well my Mechanical Horse was received. One of the professors I have to present my ideas to saw it before I left class on Friday and was really positive about it. So I'm really psyched about getting started on my portfolio presentation and I'll post a bunch of animations and clips and possibly my demo reel (i think I'm going to have to make about thirty or so clips O_O but thats up in the air for now) Plus! I got a domain name I really like for my web portfolio

I'm excited!

Speaking of websites! The Giderah website is on its way! XD any spare time i have had between working on my school work and art i owe has been dedicated to the comic and I'm really happy about how its looking.

I really do have to apologize to everyone I owe art to! I've been working so hard trying to get them done

but I'm slow. and I really apologize for that

I have come to the conclusion that I probably will never take more than one commission at a time T_T I feel really terrible about making people wait.

That's great that you got good feedback on the mechanical horse, it's well deserved. And I would love to see your demo reel.

As for all the commissions, etc, don't stress. I'm sure everyone understands that it is quite a feat to churn out several good illustrations. I know I have been fine with waiting.
